Paper soon on defence
PA Wellington The Cabinet had approved the defence report on which a White Paper would be based, said the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon). The report: has been before the Cabinet for some weeks. Mr Muldoon said the White Paper would be drafted by the Ministry of Defence. This would take at least two weeks.
He thought the White Paper would be tabled in Parliament in the last week of the session — expected to be in October.
