Job-seekers should spy on their prospective employers before accepting any position. according to Mr B. T. Knight, New Zealand manager of Key Personnel, Ltd, an employment agency. Information the job-hunter should find out would include the employer’s hiring and firing record, the job location, if there were any plans to move the business to another city or suburb, the compatibility of existing staff, the pay, and the work environment.
The job-seeker should find out about his prospective employer by questioning his clients, friends, and employees both past and present.
