Quickfire raffles may be made legal
PA Auckland I The Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Highet) predicts I that legislation affirming the i legality of quickfire raffles in I hotel bars will be presented to Parliament before the end [of the present session. The amending legislation is being dealt with by the i Statutes Revision Committee i with a view to being incor|porated in the Statutes Amendment Bill, which Mr 1 Highet describes as a “cleaning up bill.”
