Dog watch
The dog that savaged sheep in Winters Road on Monday night can still expect a noisy reception if it returns. For the last two nights, Mr R. A. Bumip has waited up in a caravan to shoot the offender. Tuesday sight passed uneventfully, but he was back there last night guarding the remainder of his flock. The attack left nine lambs and five ewes dead. Four other sheep were struggling to survive last evening.
