Squash seeds victorious
PA Timaru First-round games in the 1978 New Zealand squash championship began in Timaru on Saturday with all seeded players having trouble-free victories. By mid-afternoon eight of the overseas players entered for the championships had played and scored convincing wins. At this stage there is no clear favourite for the men’s open title.
