NZTS buys merchant

PA Auckland NZTS Holdings, Ltd, has bought for cash, T. L. Wilcox and Co, Ltd, Auckland tea merchants, and also the franchise, outside Auckland, for Automatic Beverage Machines (NZ) Ltd. The latter was bought from John Bums and Co, Ltd, which obtained this franchise from NZTS when it entered the vending-mach-ine business in 1976 by acquiring ABM. T. L. Wilcox has specialised in importing tea, and selling it in bulk packs to firms. A.B.M. had established five branches, and it plans to open branches in all major population centres.
