Wellington The chairman of the Arts Council (Mr Hamish Keith) and its director (Dr Michael Volkerling) are in Australia for talks with cultural authorities there. At the request of the Ministry of Foreign Acairs, they will discuss with officials in Canberra cultural relations i between the two countries. The Australians have indicated that they are interested in establishing a more systematic and regular cultural relationship. Secondments, exchanges, and joint projects have been suggested. The two will also meet leading figures in the arts 'world in Australia.
