Ind. Chemicals sales rising
’ PA Auckland Industrial Chemicals (N.Z.) I Ltd, expects demand to keep up, the managing director! I (Mr F. K. Brown) says inf (the latest annual review. I Sales in April and May [were ahead of last year, but | higher prices were only partly responsible. ■ The group’s net profit for the year to March 31 was $22,288 or 12 per cent higher than in the previous year after sales rose 12.5 per cent to $4,554,814. New products helped sales growth, and export prosI pects look very promising, i I the report, -says. 1 The profit was after pro-j viding $21,032 more fori (depreciation of $81,924, but $l6BO less for taxation of $132,108.
The earning rate on average shareholders’ funds was! down from 13.6 per cent to 11.8 per cent. The funds were $133,955 higher at $1,839,878.
