Homicide inquiry
PA Hamilton The police are treating as homicide the disappearance of a Morrinsville man, aged 23, reported missing on Sunday evening. The officer in charge of the inquiry, Detective Sergeant P. H. Berryman, said that inquiries yesterday had failed to reveal the man’s whereabouts. “We are now treating this matter as homicide,” he said. The police were anxious to locate the man’s vehicle, a 1972 gold Holden Kingswood sedan registered number GH2999. A big squad of police is conducting the inquiry from a special operations centre in Hamilton.
