Woman shot in neck
PA Whangarei A Whangarei woman was reported in a satisfactory condition in hospital yesterday after being accidentally shot in the neck about 8.30 p.m. yesterday. She is Lorraine Jean Watson, aged 18. Her husband, David Robert Watson, was cleaning a 30.30 rifle when it went off, sending a bullet through Mrs Watson’s neck and into a wall behind her.
