The results of Telethon
Sir, — New Zealand’s 200,000 disabled citizens have cause for hope. This is a direct outcome of the community support for them evidenced by the S3M coL lected by the Telethon. Never before has this country needed such an example of unity. Never before has caring fot others been so clearly marked. In one gesture disabled people have been given a new reason for feeling they will be one day part of the community. — Yours, etc., JOHN BROWN. July 3, 1978.
