The founder and six othei convicted members of Italy’J Red Brigades guerrillas have been transported to a fort ress prison on the desolate Mediterranean island of Asi nara.

Renato Curcio and his sit followers, all sentenced a the recent Turin trial, ar rived on Sardinia by boa' from Genoa and left immedi ately on another vessel fo: Asinara.

Curcio, aged 36, received i 15-year prison sentence it Turin when the trial ended. A total of 29 Red Brigade: members were sentenced t< total terms totalling 2K years.
