‘Careful’ burglary
Burglars who entered the premises of the New Zealand Farmers’ Co-operative Association at Leeston on Monday night stole $3OOO worth of property.
Power saws, electrical goods, and about $l6OO worth of men’s and women’s clothing were taken, after the offenders had gained entry through the roof.
“It was a carefully executed offence,” said Detective Sergeant R. J. Woolhouse, of the Hornby C. 1.8. He asked members of the public who could help the police with their inquiries
