Collisions kill three
PA Wellington Three persons died on Wellington roads during the week-end. Early on Saturday a young couple were killed when their motor-cycle and a car (collided at Upper Hutt. They ( were Mark Alexander Rest, aged 21, a soldier, and Nicola Gaye Marriner, aged 18, an apprentice hairdresser. A man was killed late on Saturday evening when his car and a newspaper truck collided in Karori. He was Alan Robert Maclnnes, aged 25, married, of Karori. Mr Maclnnes was trapped after his car somersaulted and caught fire. A naval communications expert died in Auckland Hospital yesterday from injuries suffered in a motor-cycle accident on Friday evening. He was Petty Officer Peter Reginald Aylett, aged 30, of Riverpark Crescent, Henderson. Petty Officer Aylett was a member of H.M.N.Z.S. Canterbury.
