Disgusted Scot
A Scotsman, Jimmy Kemp, aged 29, disgusted with his team’s performance in the World Cup soccer series, has put an advertisement in his local newspaper in Devizes, England, asking friends to regard him as an Englishman. Mr Kemp, a hospital cook, said that instead of being referred to as “Jock” he would prefer to be called a “Limey” or •Pommy”. — NZPA-Reuter.
