New oil pact signed
PA Auckland ; The Government expects! new oil exploration agree-; ments will follow the sign-1 ing of an agreement with! New Zealand Aquitaine Petroleum, Ltd, and partners last; evening. The agreement is for a well south of the Maui 4 well which Shell-BP-Todd drilled in 1970 and struck an uncommercial 600 barrels of oil a day and wet gas.
