Darfield rates
Rates for the Darfield township, which are likely to go up by 23 per cent this year, will not be finally approved until they go before a meeting of the Malvern County Council on June 9.
The new rates, effective from April 1, for the Darfield township would be .48c in the dollar, compared with ,39c last year. The decimal point was omitted from a report in “The Press” yesterday.
