GAY, Clerk of the Committe. 5270 ELLESMERE COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER WATER RACE DISTRICT BY-LAW FIXING CHARGES PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Counties Act, 1956, and amendments thereto, the Ellesmere County Council, at a Special Meeting held on May 15. 1978, resolved by way of Special Order to make a by-law to be known as the Ellesmere County Council Water Race Districts Water Supply By-law No. 3, 1978. The object of the proposed by-law is to repeal the scale of charges for the Ellesmere and the Hororata-Snowdon Water Race Districts as previously in force and to fix a new scale of charges as follows:— A charge of eighty two cents per hectare or part of each hectare, but with a minimum charge of $5. A full copy of the proposed by-law Is deposited at the County Office. High Street, Leeston, and is available to the inspection of the public during office hours until Friday, June 16, 1978. Public notice is hereby given that the resolution making the said by-law is to be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at a meeting of the said Council to be held in the Council Chambers at Leeston on Monday, June 19. 1978, at 10 a.m. G.
