Singapore was the only) ! other buyer of more than) 1 1000 tonnes, taking 1513; i tonnes (5:8 per cent) worth! 51.969 M (3.9 per cent). Sales to a few markets' I fell, but there was a tre-l j mendous growth in sales toI I North America and the Ca-| j ribbean, both in volume andj value. The volume sold to; the United States increased! by 361.6 per cent on 1976,; and the value rose by 39.4 per cent, most of the incresej being in fish such as tuna.
