Kostanich recovers

NZPA Sydney The New Zealand singlet champion, Ivan Kostanich, came from 12-20 down to score a convincing whi in his second-round match in the I.A.C. City Masters bowls tournament at the City club yesterday. Kostanich trailed by eight shots at the twentieth end but stormed back to beat Bill Norman, of Lindfield, 31-21. Using borrowed bowls, the New Zealander struggled against Normans consistency early in the match, but showed all his class over the concluding stages of the match, winning 11 of the last 12 ends to clinch victory.
