May 17: New Zealand trials, at Auckland. May 20. Final Kiwi trials, at Auckland. June 17: Canterbury v. West Coast, at Christchurch. June 17: Otago v. Canterbury B, at Dunedin. July 29: West Coast B v. Canterbury B, at Greymouth. July 30: West Coast v. Canterbury, at Greyniouth. August 19: National tournament * semi-final. North Island venue. August 19: Canterbury B v. Marlborough, at Christchurch. September 2: Auckland v. national finalist, at Auckland. September 24: Inter-zone 19-years match, at Christchurch. October 7: National 7-a-side tournament, at Wellington. The New Zealand tour of Australia will begin at Newcastle on June 3 and will end with the third test at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Julv 22. The other two tests are at Sydney on June 24 and Brisbane on July 15.
