In its first ; match it met the strong Hawke’s i Bay B team, and scored the de- - ciding goal in the last seconds 5 of the final chukka to win, 3-2. The strong Cambridge side looked like trouncing Waimai B r in the medium-goal match. Up !> 5-0 going into the final chukka. s I Waimai scored three goals in -j succession to narrow’ the gap to 5-3 at the final bell.
