No boycott in Chch
The Christchurch branch lof Sisters Overseas Service: (would not boycott Air New; {Zealand flights to Sydney; (although it would very much; pike to, said one of the serivice’s organisers, Ms Eliza-; Ibeth Sewell. She said the Christchurch branch would like to boycott the airline for the same reason the Auckland branch had taken this action. Unfortunately, Air New j Zealand and Qantas were the only airlines offering flights to Australia from Christ- . church, and S.O.S. had no alternative but to use these. The Auckland branch had ! the chance to use Pan Atnerijcan World Airways, which [also offered Tasman flights.
