Jury finds boy guilty
PA Hamilton Jon Edward Aberhart. aged 15, has been found guilty of murder for the second time. Aberhart was convicted in the Supreme Court at Hamilton on a charge of murdering Nola Dawn Blair at Rotongaro on June 12 last yesir. An earlier appeal against a conviction on a similar charge had been successful.
After a four day and a haff trial the jury of seven men and five women retired at noon and returned soon after 2.30 p.m. with its verdict. Mr Justice Sinclair convicted the boy and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
