Trustee banks elect officers
The president of the Car.* terbury Savings Bank. Mr lan Howell, has been elected national vice-president of the Associated Trustee Savings Banks of New Zealand. Mr Howell is director of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association. He joined the board of the Canterbury Savings Bank in 1975 and he became president last year Mr Gordon Grieve, of i Southland, was elected presi;dent of Associated Trustee ! Savings Banks. He is a former member of Parliament [for Awarua. I Mr Grieve succeeds Mr A. E. Allen, of Auckland, a forimer Speaker of the House of Representatives, who held 'the national presidency for 'two terms.
