Stray dogs

Sir, —I would add to Ruth . Wilks’s complaint in her letter of December 14. The Waimairi County Council is not interested in ratepayers’ complaints or suggestions. I too had "dog trouble” which the council would do nothing about. Also, on April 1, 1976, I wrote to the council with a suggestion about laning Memorial Avenue. Eight and a half months later I telephoned him; the next day I received a letter saying that when the matter had been considered he would write again. That letter is dated December 17. 1976. Now, in December. 1977, I can conclude only that the council is completely disinterested in its ratepayers.—Yours, etc., (Mrs) I. H. STRINGER. December 23, 1977,
