Wool Corp. sets up a new post
A former Marlborough man. Mr Philip Vavasour, has been appointed to the newly created post of property officer of the Wool Marketing Corpo-ation. The corporation owns about 130,000 sq. m of property, mainly wool stores, valued al about S7M. It also plans a 16,000 sq. m store at Dunedin, scheduled for completion in early 1979. Mr Vavasour, aged 34, has a diploma in valuation and farm management from Lincoln College. He has just returned to New Zealand after spending eight years in Britain, where he was employed by the British Gas Corporation planning pipeline routes for North Sea gas.
