The successful applicant will be expected to conduct a research programme under supervision after training in the techniques of recording from single neurons, in the cerebral cortex. Knowledge of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology would be an advantage. Familiarity with the -use of electronic equipment for biological purposes would be useful. The applicant should have a B.Sc. or B.Sc. Honours in a biological subject. The initial appointment will be for one year, salary within the scale of $6493-$7803 per annum.
