Tram fans to gather
I Tramway buffs from throughout Australia and New Zealand will attend a convention hosted by the Christchurch Historical Tramway Society in April next year. They will swap news and views and will be given in" struction in tramway restoration.
By then, the society hopes to complete two projects it has been working on f for some time — the restoration of a Dunedin cable car which is destined to run up and down a 20m rubble mound at the r Ferymead Historic Park; and the restoration of an English electric trolley bus.
