Godley Head and Wainui
Sir, — As part of their training course, a group of history students from the Christchurch Teachers’ College are conducting an investigation into the defence establishments on Banks Peninsula. They should be very glad to hear from anyone who was involved with any of the establishments in any way. The personal reminiscences of men stationed either at Godley Head or at Wainui would be particularly appreciated. If any of your readers could help this group could they please write to Defence Research, Christchurch Teachers’ College, P.O. Box 31065, Christchurch. — Yours, etc., S. F. NEWMAN. Principal Lecturer, Social Studies. November 9, 1977,
