'Duke forecasts U.K. tyranny’
NZPA London Prince Philip is heading for a row over a speech in which he claims Britain will be a virtual dictatorship by the end of the century’, reports the “Sun” newspaper. In a taped radio broadcast he has forecast that there will be no choice in education or housing, personal savings will be forbidden, and the National Health Sendee will be run down. a He also attacks the increasing power of the trade unions, and the interference of Government “bur-
eaucracy’” into people’s lives, and claims that the Government is catering for unskilled workers at the expense of the talented and skilled. “By the year 2000 there will be no place for individual talent,” he says. The Prince made the hour-long tape for the independent Glasgow station. Radio Clyde, when he was in Scotland recently. Radio Clyde has refused to disclose the Prince’s exact comments, but a spokesman described the tape as “dynamite. We expect a lot of reaction.”
