Billiards to Hornby
Hornby has won its first Canterbury A grade billiards championship. Although there is still one round remaining, Hornby, with 52 points, has an unassailable lead over its nearest rivals, Riccarto, Kaiapoi and Richmond A, which are vying for the second and third placings. Hornby was inadvertently overlooked in a story earlier this week on the state of the competition.
