Nottingham into lead
NZPA-Reuter London Nottingham Forest, newly promoted to the first division o£ the English Football League, thrashed Derby County 3-0 on Saturday to take over the leadership as the only remaining club with a 100 per cent record in the top division this season. Wolverhampton Wanderers and the English Football Association cup-holder, Manchester United, both with maximum points after their first two league matches of the season, faltered. Wolves were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Arsenal and Manchester United, also at home, player! a scoreless draw against Ipswich Town. Kenny Dalglish, Liverpool’s $695,000 signing from Glasgow Celtic, kept up his scoring record for the league champions bygetting the first goal in its 3-0 .win over West Bromwich Albion. Dalglish has scored in all three league games this season for his new cl»ib. Steven HeighwSy, the man behind most of Liverpool’s best moves, and Jimmy Case were the champion's other scorers.
