NZPA-Reuter Spittal New Zealand's team could finish only sixteenth in the men's kayak singles teams race on the last day of the world canoeing championships in Austria France won the race in 4min 40.425ec, followed by Austria ami Poland. New Zealand's team of Garth Falloon, Rod Laurenson and Larry Porter recorded a time of llmin 17.995ec.
New Zealand did not win an medals in the championships, hu Australia picked up two bron.n for ninth place.
West Germany was the 1 nation with five golds, five siiv and two bronzes, followed I: France (4, 2,4).
