Little dog lost
A pedigree Pomeranian has disappeared from its home in Beckenham and its owner, Miss B. Youngman, fears the dog may have been stolen.
“I have owned the dog for eight years, since he was a pup, and during that time he has never strayed from home,” said Miss Youngman. “About two weeks ago, the people who live over the road from us told me that my dog had been straying over to their place. They also own a Pomeranian. “I tried keeping him in a dog motel, but last Thursday my flatmate let him out, and he ran over
the road to our neighbour’s,” she said. She has not seen her dog since.
She has seen the police about the missing dog and has advertised on radio and in the newspapers. “I have tried all the vets, pounds, and the S.P.C.A. in the Christchurch area, but he still hasn’t turned up.” The dog, which is shy with strangers, answers to the name, “Toffee.” If anyone finds the dog, Miss Youngman would like them to get in touch with her at Flat 2, 6 Baretta Street, Beckenham.
