SHARE PRICES EASE ON QUIET MARKET
Share prices were easier in quiet trading on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday. Falls outnumbered rises by more than two to one, and the N.Z.U.C. index eased 0.82 points. A.B. ( onsolidated rose 1c on its improved profit, but Tasman fell a further 5c to 190 c. Retailers, meat companies and financiers were mixed, and timber, engineering and building and allied companies were easier.
