FUJI’S NEW MICLE 1200

Microfilming offers the advantage of easy storage for films with large quanities of documents. With microfilm, mountains of records, printed matter, engineering drawings, medical records and other documents may be stored for safe and permanent keeping on neat and tiny rolls of film for instant retrieval. It allows photo-exact copies of these records to be made for productive use in any size and quantity required with pushbutton speed and ease. An interesting new unit now being marketed in New Zeland is the MICLE 1209. which is manufactured in Japan by Fuji

Photo Film Company, Ltd. It is expected to market for about $BOOO in New Zealand. The MICLE operates in the same way as an office photo copier except that instead of a paper copy it produces a microfilm strip ready for filing or mailing. Printed matter can be reduced to 1/25 in size. It can microfilm any document not larger than 364 mm by 257 mm. Push button operation enables microfilming at a speed of 50 frames per minute. The film roll is automatically cut into strips of 12 frames each. This results in quicker access to required information and cuts down on waiting time and film waste.
