New office for Labour
The Leader of the Opposition (Mr Rowling) opened a new office for the St Albans branch of the Labour Party in Christchurch yesterday. The branch office, which is also the headquarters for a food co-operative run by the St Albans branch of the Labour Party, will be used by Labour Party candidates for this year’s municipal elections.
The opening ceremony was attended by about 50 persons, and came at the end of a busy day of activities for Mr Rowling, during which he gave three major public addresses.
