New man in Transport
Mr K. N. Le Comte has begun work as the Ministry of Transport’s regional secretary in Christchurch. Mr Le Comte succeeded' Mr D. L. Hogan, who retired in January. He will be responsible for the ministry’s aviation, marine, road traffic and administration division—involving a staff of 850. For the last two years he has been deputy assistant on the staff' of the Chief of Defence in Wellington.
