Voices in harmony
A father and son combination from Templeton found the Coringa course to its liking in that club’s 36-hole open tournament on Saturday. Alan Voice gained his first tournament success when he topped the junior field with rounds of 87 and 92. His son, Barry playing in a higher grade, just failed to emulate his father’s performance.
Rounds of 77 and 82 left him runner-up in the intermediate grade, one stroke behind the winner.
