Aust market lower

Disappointment with the, Myer result, the AustralianJapan coal negotiations, and continuing pressure on ANZ shares marked Thursday’s trading on Australian stock exchanges. Myer shares were marked down 18c to 187 c on a turnover of 3800 in Sydney. I ANZ shares. which dropped 5c on Wednesday, eased another 2c to 315 c.! The new shares were un-! traded after their 9c drop to! 311 c on Wednesday. Other retailers to move in-! eluded Woolworths (up 3c to! 131 c) Coles (down 3c to 146 c) and David Jones (down 3c to 92c).
