Visit to Africa
Sir, —We have recently had one of our protest group
leaders visiting both Nigeria and Tanzania. I hope he is aware that if he lived in either of these two countries he would not even be permitted to protest as he has the freedom to do in N.Z. In these dictatorship-controlled countries he would conveniently have an automobile, accident (probably chauffeurdriven) or end up as a missing person supposedly suffering from amnesia. — Yours, etc. D. P. E. STACKHOUSE. February 24, 1977.
