Miss Dewe‘s views
Sir, —Colleen Dewe’s viewpoint was intriguing. One does not have to be educated for austerity. Hardship has proven to be the greatest of all educators. To survive one has to be intelligent, ablebodied and astute. Had we been educated for affluence then the social evils that permeate society would not have been society’s hallmark. — Yours, etc. D. NICHOL February 24, 1977.
