‘Earthquake design code’
Wellington reporter An earthquake design code is being devised by the Standards Association to protect building services in the event of an earthquake. The aim of the code would be to protect the mechanical, electrical and similar facilities in buildings. said the association’s director (Mr D. Pinfold). He said he hoped that other organisations interested would share in the cost of the project.
