Dishonesty
Sir.—Last Friday morning my son’s regulation school jersey was stolen from the changing sheds at his intermediate school. Obviously someone has been provided with a warm jersey bearing the school’s colours and of course the parent or parents of the child must be aware the jersey is stolen property. Are New Zealanders so poverty-stricken that manv consider stealing is permissible to obtain much needed clothing?—Yours, etc.. ROSIE WITTY. February 22. 1977.
