Trade in leather goods
Sir. — In "The Press” this morning I see an advertise-
ment inserted by a Christchurch shoe store for a new shipment Of shoes from England. On another page a news item tells of Government concern over a tariff increase on New Zealand leather goods exported to Australia. Does this mean that we really will be able to buy footwear from India as part of trade aid? — Yours etc.,
V. J. BIDWELL February 21, 1977.
