Limited 11p.m. closing starts tonight
Canterbury hotels which eave been granted permission to stay open an extra hour on Friday and Saturday lights and a few other selected nights through the year can make a start from tonight. Notice of the terms of the final order granting the extended hours was published in the New Zealand Gazette yesterday. As the order takes effect on the day after publication of the notice the hotels granted the extra hour ■nay apply the order from today, and stay open until 11 pun. The following hotels have' jeen granted permission to! keep bars open until II p.m.j m Fridays, Saturdays, and! Christmas Eve: and to'3o min- : utes past midnight on New I Year’s Day.
