Three share lead
Three wicket-keepers, Maurice Ryan (Lancaster Park), Henry Sampson (St Albans) and Grajiam Gordon (Old Collegians), share the distinction of having taken most dismissals during the 1976-77 senior club cricket season. All have claimed 15 victims — Ryan from nine catches and six stumpings, Sampson from eight catches and seven stumpings, and Gordon, reflecting his team’s reliance on mediumpaced bowling, has 15 catches.
Ashley Hart (Sydenham) is next with 11 catches, ahead of Adrian Jackson (East-Shirley, nine catches and one stumping) and Kevin Collins (BurnsideWest, six catches and two stumpings). Most catches in the field have been taken by Stephen Bateman (BurnsideWest),
