Power boating on Estuary

Sir,—l am sorry M. Roberts has overlooked the educational value of an “undisturbed” Estuary', which is

close enough for our young people to use in study groups. I wish M. Roberts could join such a group, and realise that "selfishness” consists of depriving our successors of unique educational facilities. A chat with some of our teachers would yield information which might open your correspondent’s eyes. Furthermore we Estuary dwellers happily abide by restrictions in our city areas, which do not belong specifically to one elitist, rate-paying group. Christchurch is a precious heritage for all of us.—Yours, etc., LORNA ANKER. November 26, 1976.
