Muggeridge arrives
PA Auckland Malcolm Muggeridge, the English writer, broadcaster, commentator, and evangelist, arrived in Auckland on Monday nightj and said he was not planning to explode any verba] bombshells while in New Zealand.
“However, I can’t make any promises,” he said.
Over the years Muggeridge, once editor of “Punch” magazine, has made a series of biting attacks on British institutions, and he has spent a lifetime mocking pomoosity and hypocrisy.
